Future of Trust Summit 2018

 ·  ☕ 1 min read

Blockchaingers Open Innovation Program organised another interesting event - Future of Trust Summit 2018 in the historic Hall of Knights (Ridderzaal) in the Hague.

I was invited to join Crisis and disaster management track to brainstorm about decentralized information management in a crisis situations. With decentralized techniques emerging, how can the information management of a massive public interest like crisis management, be redesigned towards a more risk-tolerant system? Dutch public safety organizations formed an alliance to experiment and launch new ways of tackling complex problems and new ways of collaborating. The Instituut Fysieke Veiligheid (IFV), Ministry of Justice & Safety, Safety Region Noord-Nederland and Safety Region Rotterdam were exploring ideas and ideations to create two hackathon challenges.

Idea was to put our heads together and articulate the challenges so that they can be attacked on the Blockchaingers Hackathon in April 2019. Each table was guided by senior table host and enables start- and scale-up founders, launching customers from corporates and governments, investors, scientists, students, developers, policy makers, legal specialist, and other contributors to crystallize ideas from multiple points of view into a clear collective understanding of the possible directions for future solutions and their fit into a decentralized world.
